At this Accord property, we removed an old metal septic tank and installed a Roth poly tank. The piping was badly damaged and packed with roots, so nearly all of it needed replacement.

A disconnected outlet pipe—not an automatic system replacement.
On a separate job, our investigation found a disconnected outlet pipe filled with dirt. We replaced approximately 20 feet of 4-inch pipe and installed a baffle. It’s a useful example of why the cause matters before deciding the scope.

Sometimes replacement is the right answer. A pipe repair cannot resolve every drain field problem, and cleaning cannot fix every system failure.
That depends on which components are affected, the condition of the rest of the system and site requirements. Investigation helps determine whether a component repair, partial replacement or new system is appropriate.
Can a camera inspection find every problem?
No. A camera can reveal conditions inside accessible piping, but it cannot fully evaluate the tank, soil or drain field. Other checks or excavation may be needed.
Will hydro jetting fix a failing drain field?
Hydro jetting may help with certain pipe blockages. It is not a guaranteed remedy for drain field failure. The cause and condition of the system need to be evaluated first.
