This is almost a sad story. This lady was told that she needed a new septic. She called me after neighbor told her to get a second opinion. How right they were.

Within minutes I was able to tell that the issue was with the outlet pipe. Either it was clogged or broken and here is my plan of attack.

I returned back with the excavator and after carefully excavating the dirt back I found that indeed I was correct. The outlet pipe wasn’t even connected and was filled with dirt. So as planned I replaced about 20 feet of 4″ pipe, installed the ever so important baffle.

That’s it done, 100% fixed and working. I saved this lady a ton of money. However it’s the other guy I really want to point out. It’s just so sad how so called professionals treat people. Here are some pictures I took on this job.
